Visio2002: Pasted EMF Appears Very Small in Upper-Left Corner of Object (299173)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Visio 2002, if you paste an Enhanced Metafile (EMF) picture by using one of the following paste special options
  • Microsoft Visio Drawing
  • Picture
the picture does not appear as you expect. For example, the overall size of the pasted object is correct but the image is very small and appears in the upper-left corner of the object. This problem has been reported on computers running either Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me) or Microsoft Windows 98.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, use one of the following Paste Special formats:

  • Visio Drawing Data
  • Picture (Enhanced Metafile)
  • Device Independent Bitmap

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
