Visio2002: Options Dialog Box Disappears When You Click the Title Bar (299168)

After you click Options in the Find Shape dialog box, the Options dialog box that appears may disappear when you attempt to select it by clicking the Options dialog box title bar.
As a result, you cannot select or close the Options dialog box, and you cannot quit Microsoft Visio.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs if the following conditions are true:
- You change the Find Shape dialog box to a floating window.
- You search for a shape.
- While the search is progressing, you click the Options link in the Find Shape dialog box.
- You click the title bar of the Options dialog box that appears.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, use one of the following methods.
Method 1: Dock the Find Shape Dialog Box
Dock the Find Shape dialog box when you search for a shape. To do this, right-click the title bar of the floating Find Shape dialog box, and then click Dock Window on the shortcut menu that appears.
Method 2: Restore the Options Dialog Box- Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE.
The Close Program dialog box appears. - Press the ESC key.
The Options dialog box is restored.
