Some Internet Explorer Files Are Listed as Not Present in the System Information Tool (298988)

When you run the System Information tool (Msinfo32.exe), some Internet Explorer files are listed in the display pane as "File not present". Also, "Not available" is displayed for the version, size, and date under File Versions in the Internet Explorer branch. These files include: Enhsig.dll, Iemigrat.dll, Msoss.dll, Rsasig.dll, Shdoc401.dll, Wsock.vxd, and Wsock32n.dll.
CAUSE
This problem can occur because these files are not installed in Windows 2000. Therefore, they are listed as not present in the System Information tool.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
