SYMPTOMS

The Commerce Server 2000 Profile service does not save Unicode data properly.

CAUSE

When user profile data is saved with Commerce.ProfileService and Commerce.ProfileObject, the Unicode information is not saved correctly.

RESOLUTION

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Commerce Server 2000. This problem was first corrected in Commerce Server 2000 Service Pack 1.
