FIX: Incorrect Data Displays in PivotTable When it is Filtered and AutoCalc is Set to Max or Min (297823)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services
This article was previously published under Q297823
BUG #: 11468 (Plato7.x)
SYMPTOMS
Data that displays through the pivot table is inconsistent, and the display changes depending on the selection of data. This behavior occurs when the AutoCalc function is set to MAX or MIN, and a filter is set on the filter axis.
You also see inconsistent data with any Analysis Services client that uses the Aggregate function in a Multidimensional Expression (MDX) query.
CAUSE
The MDX Aggregate function returns incorrect data. The pivot table uses the MDX Aggregate function when it attempts to display the minimum or maximum value for AutoCalc.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (the Analysis Services Components - Sql2kasp1.exe). For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the
