SYMPTOMS

If a Post Office Protocol version 3 (POP3) or Internet Message Access Protocol, Version 4rev1 (IMAP4) client (for example, Outlook Express) connects to a front-end Exchange 2000 server, the body or header (or both) of some messages that are downloaded by using IMAP4 or POP3 connections may be empty. Outlook Express generates the following error messages:

Outlook Express encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this message

RESOLUTION
