SYMPTOMS

The current catalog export APIs do not export the catalog schema in a way that can be mapped in BizTalk through the XML DOM.

The hotfix listed in the "Resolution" section of this article is required for the Supplier Accelerator Toolkit (Technical Preview) to operate properly with Commerce Server 2000.

CAUSE

The Catalog schema XML output does not deliver the fields as XML elements that appear in the BizTalk Editor or BizTalk Mapper.

RESOLUTION

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Commerce Server 2000. This problem was first corrected in Commerce Server 2000 Service Pack 1.
