ACC2002: Access Unexpectedly Quits When You Click in Filtered Group of a Data Access Page (295222)

SYMPTOMS When you add a new record to a grouped data access page,
the page unexpectedly closes. You receive no error message or warning message.
The page simply "disappears," and then either Microsoft Access or Microsoft
Internet Explorer also quits, depending on which program you were using to view
the page. CAUSE This behavior only occurs when all of the following
conditions are true: - You have installed Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC)
2.6.You are working with a filtered recordset, using a Group Filter Control
(drop-down list).You are adding a new record to a child group.You then click
somewhere outside the child group.
STATUSMicrosoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
at the beginning of this article.
MORE INFORMATION This problem does not occur with MDAC 2.5.
