SYMPTOMS
When SQL Server receives corrupted Tabular Data Stream (TDS) packets from a client, it may send a stack dump to the error log and shut down.
The following error message is logged in the SQL Server error log: 17805, Severity: 20, State: 3 Invalid buffer received from client.
