Error Message: Mlang.dll Has Caused an Error in Mlang.dll (293461)

SYMPTOMS

When you start your computer, or when you start Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Publisher, or Microsoft Internet Explorer, you may receive the following error message:
Mlang.dll has caused an error in Mlang.dll

CAUSE

This issue can occur if the Mystssk_.ttf TrueType font file exists in the C:\Windows\Fonts folder and it is damaged.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, delete the Mystssk_.ttf font file from the C:\Windows\Fonts folder:
  1. Click Start, click Run, type fonts, and then click OK.
  2. Right-click the Mystssk_.ttf file, and then click Delete.
  3. Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
