a calculated field that contains a field name with Double Byte Character Set
(DBCS) characters to a PivotTable, Excel 2000 may quit unexpectedly and you
receive an Access Violation error message.CAUSE This problem may occur if the hook process returns American
National Standards Institute (ANSI) characters, instead of the expected Unicode
characters.RESOLUTION To resolve this problem, obtain the latest

This problem was first corrected by a hotfix that is
included in Microsoft Office 2000 Service Pack 3. After you install
the latest service pack, follow the steps that are listed in the "More
Information" section to set the QFE_Yokohama registry key and to
activate the hotfix. STATUSMicrosoft
