OL2002: Outlook Does Not Display Correct Screen Name for New Hotmail Account (293050)

SYMPTOMS

If you start to create a Hotmail account, change the screen name during setup, and then finish creating the account, Outlook does not display the correct screen name.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, quit and then restart Outlook.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
