OL2002: Cannot Click "Send" After Checking Spelling in One Section of a Message (293033)

SYMPTOMS

When you use Word as your e-mail editor and you run the spelling checker in only part of a message, the basic Mail toolbar may be unavailable and you cannot click Send.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, use one of the following procedures:
  • Minimize the e-mail window, and then restore it.
  • Press ALT+TAB to make another window active, and then press ALT+TAB again to make the original window active.
  • Press ALT+S to send mail without using the toolbar.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
