Thin line is displayed and printed around the object when you apply a combination of a border and a fill to the object in Publisher (290911)

This article was previously published under Q290911 SYMPTOMS When you apply a combination of a border and a fill to any
object in Microsoft Publisher, a thin line may be displayed or printed around
the outside of the object. This "leaking" is more noticeable when you use the
Commercial Printing Tools in Publisher.
CAUSE The "leaking" behavior is caused by the interaction of
Publisher with the Windows system component GDI+. WORKAROUND To minimize this behavior, follow these steps:
- Click the AutoShape or picture to select it.
- On the Format menu, click AutoShape or Picture.
- In the Format AutoShape or Format Picture dialog box, click the Colors and Lines tab.
- Clear the Draw border inside frame check
box.
