XADM: Information Store Generates an Access Violation During Backup (290100)

SYMPTOMS

The Exchange 2000 Server information store may generate an access violation during a backup of the information store databases.

CAUSE

This problem can occur if backups that were previously started on an information store that has multiple storage groups have unloaded the necessary initialization application programming interface (API) procedures from memory.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS
