SYMPTOMS

While you are using Microsoft Word as your e-mail editor in Outlook 2002, when you try to load a Web page that is invalid or that takes a long time to load, you cannot create a new message when you switch back to Outlook 2002. The program is no longer responding.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
