OL2000: New E-mail Notification Does Not Maximize Outlook When You Use an IMAP Server (289887)

SYMPTOMS

When you turn on the New Mail Notification in Outlook by using an Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) e-mail account and you receive a new message, Outlook prompts you as to whether or not you want to read the new message. If you click Yes, Outlook does not maximize to the full screen or open the new message. This does not occur when you use a Post Office Protocol 3 (POP3) e-mail account.
