FP2002: Run-time Error Occurs After You Click the Preview Tab (288748)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft FrontPage 2002, when you attempt to view a Web page by using the Preview tab, you receive an error message similar to the following:
A run-time error has occurred.
Do you wish to debug?

Line: 26
Error: Permission denied.

CAUSE

This problem can occur if the page you opened is an Excel Workbook with multiple worksheets saved as a Web page to a SharePoint team Services Web site.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, preview the page by doing one of the following:
  • On the standard toolbar, click the Preview in Browser button.

    -or-
  • On the File menu, click Preview in Browser.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
