SUMMARY

Event ID: 5049
Source: Application Center
Description: Could not enumerate objects
Event type: Error

The objects store located at %Path% could be opened but not enumerated during session %ReplicationID% and job %ReplicationJobID%. Status is %Status%%StatusMessage%.

Meaning: The objects store could be opened but not enumerated.

Effect: The member will still be synchronized with the controller, but some objects might not get synchronized. For more details on which files were not synchronized, see the Details pane of the Synchronizations view for this synchronization.

Possible Causes and Solutions

Configuration store (metabase) corrupt: The store that Application Center uses for configuration data is corrupted or unavailable. Restart the IIS Admin service by using the Services utility in Administrative Tools. If this problem persists, contact your support personnel.

CAPI certificates not exportable: A common cause for this event is that certificates are marked as nonexportable. In order for certificates to be synchronized, they must be marked as exportable.

Object not available: The object has been renamed or deleted, or is being used or locked by another application.

Object already exists: The object already exists in the target location and cannot be overwritten.

No permissions: The access permissions have been changed on the file or object.

Other Solutions (listed in order of preference):
  1. Restart the computer.
  2. Use the Support Online link in the Events view.
  3. Contact Microsoft Product Support Services:
