SYMPTOMS

An Outlook 2001 for Mac user, who is a delegate of another user's calendar, does not receive notifications of meeting requests even though the appropriate permissions and other settings have been configured.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

If you grant user "A" (without quotation marks) delegate status, user A has the following permissions:
  • Editor permissions to the calendar.
  • The This person can see my private items option is enabled.
  • The This person is a delegate and will receive copies of my meeting requests option is enabled.
