Can Still Perform Administrative Tasks After Changing User Account Permissions to Standard or Limited (288391)

After you log on as an administrator and change the permissions to Standard or Limited for the user account you are currently logged on to, you may still be able to create, change, and delete accounts if you leave the User Accounts dialog box open or if you go to Local Users and Groups under Computer Management.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur because your token does not change from the administrator's group until you log off and then log on again. At the next logon, the token is created without the administrator group.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, log off the computer and then log on again as the same user.
STATUS
This behavior is by design.
MORE INFORMATION
The same behavior occurs if the account type is changed in another user session (by using the fast user switch) by another administrator.
In Windows XP Home Edition and Windows XP Professional, another factor in this situation is that the open User Accounts dialog box is not updated.
