A network load balancing (NLB) host-priority conflict has been detected on the member. A different host priority must be set for each network adapter in the cluster.
Meaning: An NLB host-priority conflict has been detected.
Effect: NLB will not function correctly until this problem is fixed.
Possible Causes and Solutions
Host-priority settings: To resolve this conflict, change the host priority on one of the conflicting cluster members to a value (between 1 and 32) that does not conflict with other cluster members. To change the host priority setting for a network adapter:
- Open Network and Dial-up Connections.
- Select the Local Area Connection and open its property sheets.
- From the list of services and protocols, select Network Load Balancing and open its property sheets.
- Select the Host Priority property sheet.
- Change Priority to a unique value in the cluster.
