Cannot Play Back Video That Is Captured by Matrox Marvel G200 or G400 Cards (288170)

When you use a Matrox Marvel G200 or G400 video capture card to create video files, you cannot play back the files after you create them. The cards seem as if they are not able to stream the video.
When you try to play back the captured file, you may be able to view the video but the audio is not synchronized, or the audio is garbled, or you may receive the following error message, depending on the software that you are using for playback and editing:
The capture has been aborted due to an unexpected error. The sample start time is after the sample end time.
CAUSE
This issue can occur of the drivers for the video capture card are not fully supported in Windows XP.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, contact the manufacturer of your video capture card to obtain updated drivers that are supported in Windows XP.
