XADM: Merging Disabled User and Enabled User by Using the ADClean Tool Retains Description of Disabled User (287995)

When the Active Directory Connector (ADC) creates disabled accounts in the Active Directory, the description of the account is set to Disabled Windows User Account. If you later use the Active Directory Cleanup Wizard (ADClean) to merge the disabled account with an active account, the description of the enabled account is set to Disabled Windows User Account.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because the Active Directory Cleanup Wizard overwrites the description field of the enabled user with the value that was set on the disabled user.
WORKAROUND
It is possible to keep the ADC from writing Disabled Windows User Account in the description of disabled users when they are created. Therefore, when you use the ADClean utility to merge the disabled and enabled user accounts, the description is not set to Disabled Windows User Account.
