OL2002: The E-mail Processing Order Is Changed When You Upgrade to Outlook 2002 (287901)

SYMPTOMS

Your e-mail processing order may not be retained when you upgrade from an earlier version of Microsoft Outlook to Outlook 2002.

WORKAROUND

Use the following steps to work around this problem:
  1. On the Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click the Mail Icon.
  3. In the Mail Setup dialog box, click E-mail Accounts.
  4. Verify that the View or change existing e-mail accounts option is selected, and then click Next.
  5. Select the appropriate accounts, and then use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to alter their place in the processing order as needed.
  6. Click Finish.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
