OL2002: Data in the Message Body Is Deleted When You Cancel an Assignment in a New Task (287868)

SYMPTOMS

Task data disappears from the message body after you click the Cancel Assignment button from the toolbar.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, first click the File menu, and then click Save to save the Task item. This forces the changes to be saved before you cancel the task assignment.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
