Error message when you open an Outlook 2002 iCal item in Outlook 2000 (287865)

You cannot open an iCal appointment item on a computer that is running Microsoft Outlook 2000 Service Release 1 (SR-1) if it was sent through Post Office Protocol 3 (POP3) mail. If you created the iCal item in Outlook 2002, the following error message may occur:
Cannot import vCalendar file. Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, send an appointment in a format other than as an iCal item if you create the item in Outlook 2002 and send it to a computer that is running Outlook 2000 SR-1.
