The processing of an LPC message may result in a "STATUS_INVALID_PARAMETER"
(0xC000000D) response. When one thread in a process calls ntoskrnl!LpcpDeletePort, LPC messages in other threads of the same process may be deleted.
In COM+, this issue can occur if a publisher of a Loosely Coupled event enters a tight loop of creating, firing events, and releasing the event class object. When you fire the event (call the event class object method), an "E_OUTOFMEMORY" (0x80000002) response is returned, and one of the following error messages is written to the Event log:
The COM+ Event System ran out of memory during its internal
processing, at line 60 of .\eventsystemobj.cpp. The COM+ Event System detected a bad return code during its
internal processing. HRESULT was 80004002 from line 42 of
.\eventsystemobj.cpp. Please contact Microsoft Product Support
Services to report this error.
