PPT2002: Animation Schemes List Is Empty or Is Missing Items (285494)

When you attempt to view animation schemes in Microsoft PowerPoint, the Animation Schemes list may be empty or may not contain all of the expected schemes or scheme categories.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the QuikAnim.ppt file was modified or incorrectly formatted and is now invalid.
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, delete the QuikAnim.ppt file from your computer, and then reinstall PowerPoint to restore the original QuikAnim.ppt file. To do this, follow these steps:
- On the desktop, right-click My Computer, and then click Explore.
- Browse to the Program Files\Microsoft Office\1033 folder.
- Delete QuikAnim.ppt.
- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. Double-click Add/Remove Programs .
- In the Add/Remove Programs dialog box, click Change or Remove Programs.
- In the Currently installed programs list, click Microsoft Office 2000, and then click Change.
- Click Repair Office, click the Reinstall Office option button, and then click Finish.
