WD2000: Word Doesn't Check Spelling When Text Is Formatted with Symbol or Decorative Font (284217)

SYMPTOMS
When you check the spelling in your Word document, Word may display the following message, even if some of the words in your document are misspelled:
The spelling and grammar check is complete.
CAUSE
This problem can occur if the text in your Word document is formatted in a symbol font or decorative font that does not use letters. Word does not check the spelling of text that is formatted with any of the following fonts:
- Marlett
- MS Outlook
- MT Extra
- SWDEV12
- SWDEV13
- Symbol
- Webdings
- Wingdings
- Wingdings 2
- Wingdings 3
NOTE: Other symbol fonts not listed also can cause this problem.
