FIX: You Have to Install the OLAP and the Analysis Services to Unpup the Data Warehouse Resource (284163)

SYMPTOMS

The databases and cubes for online analytical processing (OLAP) and the Analysis services are not created when you unpup.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because to successfully restore the database, MakeOlapDataStore OLAP DataStore requires that the OLAP and the Analysis services are installed on the computer on which Commerce Server is running.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, unpup the Data Warehouse resource on the computer on which OLAP and the Analysis services are installed.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
