This step-by-step article describes how to display or hide the Ask a Question box in Microsoft Office XP programs.
The Ask a Question box is a new feature of Office XP that allows quicker access to Help topics. This box is located in the upper-right corner of the screen and displays the following default text: "Type a question for help."

How to Display the Ask a Question Box
To display the Ask a Question box, follow these steps:
- In the Office program that you are using, click Customize on the Tools menu.
- Right-click the Ask a Question box. Click to select the Show Ask a Question Box check box.
- In the Customize dialog box, click Close.

To hide the Ask a Question box, follow these steps:
- In the Office program that you are using, click Customize on the Tools menu.
