Internet Explorer Prompts You to Save Kgaccept.asp Instead of Submitting Your Certificate Request (283333)

After you complete the certificate enrollment form in Internet Explorer and then click Submit to send your client certificate request, Internet Explorer may neither submit your request to the certificate authority nor prompt you to automatically install the certificate. Instead, Internet Explorer may prompt you to save the Kgaccept.asp Web page to a file.
The issue occurs when the request goes from your Microsoft Windows XP-based computer to a Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 6-based certificate authority.
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, the administrator of the Web site needs to update the Browscap.ini file. The following Knowledge Base article describes how to perform this update:
