SYMPTOMS

When you are using Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) Network services in Windows 2000, you may receive the following stop message:
Stop 0X000000D1(0XA3449880, 0X00000002, 0X00000000, 0XF7079F3A)
Note: The parameters in this message may vary.

CAUSE

The LAN Emulation Configuration Server (LECS) is specifying a Virtual Channel Connection (VCC) timeout equal to, or greater than 1,800.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, change the VCC timeout on the LECS to 1,799, or lower.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
