The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
- Microsoft Windows XP Professional
This article was previously published under Q282096 SUMMARY
When you install Microsoft Windows XP on a computer that has BeOs installed on another drive or partition, and you are using the BeOs boot manager, Windows XP overwrites the existing boot manager with its own boot manager.
Note that the last operating system that you install overwrites the existing boot manager. BeOs can still be started by using its startup
floppy disk.
