Golf 2001: Game Hangs If You Decline End User License Agreement (EULA) (281785)

SYMPTOMS

If you click Decline when the EULA (End User License Agreement) is displayed, Microsoft Golf may stop responding.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the Installation Launcher does not quit after you click Decline, instead of quitting back to the desktop.

RESOLUTION

To return to the desktop, use the appropriate method for your version of Microsoft Windows.

Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows 98, or Microsoft Windows Millennium

  1. Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE.
  2. In the Close Program dialog box, click Microsoft Golf 2001 (not responding), and then click End Task.

    If you receive a message that the program is busy or not responding, click End Task again.

Microsoft Windows 2000

  1. Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC.
  2. On the Applications tab, click Microsoft Golf 2001 (not responding), and then click End Task.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Golf 2001.
