SYMPTOMS

After you add a format switch to a field, the field results may produce the following error message:
Error! Number Cannot be Represented in Specified Format

CAUSE

This problem occurs when the resulting value exceeds the maximum value for the field formatting switch.

NOTE: This problem also occurs when the total number of digits in the number exceeds 63 digits. The total number of digits includes the decimal point but does not include separators such as commas.
