SUMMARY

When you store Microsoft Windows Media Player or .mp3 files on additional storage cards on a PocketPC device, you must create a My Documents folder.

If the storage card does not have a My Documents folder, the files either cannot be played or they cannot be found on the PocketPC device by Windows Media Player.

MORE INFORMATION

On a standard PocketPC device, you can successfully play the files because the My Documents folder exists by default. However, when you use additional storage cards, you must create a My Documents folder on the storage card, and then place the .mp3 files in the folder. There is no way to create the My Documents folder by using the PocketPC software, but a third-party solution may be available.
