BizTalk Orchestration Designer Does Not Support Drag-and-Drop Method (276514)

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to drag an Orchestration Drawing (*.skv) into an open window in the BizTalk Orchestration Designer, you may receive the following error message:
BizTalk Orchestration Designer
Insertion of OLE objects is not supported.

CAUSE

When there is already an open file, the BizTalk Orchestration Designer does not support opening files by using the drag-and-drop method.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, do one of the following: On the File menu, click Open, and then select the drawing.
-OR-

Drag the drawing into the Orchestration Designer when no other drawings are open.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in BizTalk Server 2000.
