SYMPTOMS

In the Commerce Server Manager, some snap-ins are present, even if the services are not installed. When you attempt to access one of these snap-ins, an error message may appear that indicates that the snap-in failed to initialize.

For example, the SQL Server snap-in may appear, even if SQL Server is not installed locally on the computer. The Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in may also be present, even if the computer is not a domain controller or part of a domain.

STATUS
