Create Two New Folders

To create two new folders:
  1. Double-click the My Computer icon on the desktop, and then double-click the hard disk on which Microsoft Windows is installed.
  2. Double-click the Program Files folder.
  3. On the File menu, point to New, and then click Folder.
  4. Right-click the New Folder folder, and then click Rename.
  5. Type Picture It! Photo Disc 1, and then press ENTER.
  6. On the File menu, point to New, and then click Folder.
  7. Right-click the New Folder folder, and then click Rename.
  8. Type Picture It! Photo Disc 2, and then press ENTER.

Copy the Contents of the Picture It! Photo Premium Compact Discs

To copy the contents of the Picture It! Photo Premium compact discs to the hard disk:
  1. Insert the Picture It! Photo Premium 2001 Disc 1 CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive. Press and hold down the SHIFT key as you insert the CD-ROM to prevent Setup from starting automatically.
  2. On the toolbar, click the Back button twice.
  3. Right-click the CD-ROM drive that contains the Picture It! Photo Premium 2001 Disc 1 CD-ROM, and then click Explore.
  4. On the Edit menu, click Select All.
  5. On the Edit menu, click Copy.
  6. Click the Back button on the toolbar.
  7. Double-click the hard disk on which Microsoft Windows is installed.
  8. Double-click the Program Files folder.
  9. Double-click the Picture It! Photo Disc 1 folder.
  10. On the Edit menu, click Paste.

    NOTE: A Copying dialog box should appear. The file copy process may take several minutes.
  11. Repeat these steps to copy the contents of the Picture It! Photo Premium Disc 2 CD-ROM to the Picture It! Photo Disc 2 folder.

To install Picture It! Photo Premium 2001:

  1. Click the Back button on the toolbar.
  2. Double-click the Picture It! Photo Disc 1 folder.
  3. Double-click the PIP folder.
  4. Double-click Setup.exe.
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen to install Picture It! Photo Premium 2001.

Install Picture It! Photo Creativity

  1. Double-click the Picture It Photo Disc 2 folder.

    To find this folder, follow these steps:
