SYMPTOMS

Commerce Server 2000 does not support discounts that are applied based on separate line items in the order. You cannot have a condition or award that is applicable to multiple line items. The discount is applied by line item.

MORE INFORMATION

For example, you cannot specify a discount in which a user can get a keyboard if they buy a monitor and a printer. In other words, a user cannot get a third item free or at a discount when they buy two other items that are specified in the conditions.
