When you attempt to install one of the versions of the Microsoft IntelliPoint software listed at the beginning of this article on a Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition-based computer, you receive the following error message:

MORE INFORMATION

Versions of the IntelliPoint software prior to version 3.2 are not compatible with Windows Millennium Edition. The mouse drivers installed with Windows Millennium Edition provide basic mouse functionality only.
