SYMPTOMS

When you run the BizTalk Server 2000 Setup program, if the program stops responding (hangs) or fails (crashes), and you restart (reboot) your computer, the BizTalk Messaging Service may cause Windows 2000 to restart repeatedly.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, disable the BizTalk Messaging Service (btssvc).
