Internet Explorer Script Error Message When You Open the My Pictures Folder (275557)

SYMPTOMS

When you open the My Pictures folder, you may receive an Internet Explorer script error message. This may also occur when you open the My Pictures folder in the ImgView.htt file or when you open the My Network Places folder in the NetHood.htt file.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if you are running the Tweak UI program, and you have changed the First icon on desktop setting with Active Desktop enabled.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, change the First icon on desktop setting back to the My Documents folder:
  1. Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Tweak UI.
  2. On the Desktop tab, click My Documents in the First icon on desktop box, and then click OK.
