WD2001: Multi-line Street Address in German Language Format Is Added Incorrectly to the Address Book (275420)

When the language format for a Microsoft Word 2001 for Mac document is German, and you attempt to add a contact with a multi-line street address to the Address Book by selecting the contact information in the document, the last line of the street address is placed in the City box, and the city name is placed in the State/Province box.
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, follow these steps:
- On the View menu, point to Toolbars, and then click Contact.
- Select the contact name and address that you want to add to the Address Book.
- On the Contact toolbar, click Contacts, and then click Add Contact.
- In the Add Contact dialog box, under Address, click to select either Home or Business, and then click Add.
- On the Tools menu, click Address Book.
- In the list of contacts, click the contact that you want to edit, and then click Open.
- Click either the Home tab or the Work tab, to display the address that you want to edit.
- Select the text that is in the wrong box and drag it to the correct box. Delete any text that remains in the wrong box.
- When you are finished editing the contact, click Save, and then close the contact.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Word 2001 for Mac.
