The Run Command Is Missing from the Start Menu (275260)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to click Run on the Start menu, the Run command may be missing.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you click to clear the Display Run check box in the taskbar properties.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Taskbar & Start Menu.
  2. On the Advanced tab, click to select the Display Run check box.
  3. Click OK.
