User Must Click 'Finish' to Reboot the Computer When Unattended Installation Is Complete (275206)

When using a unattend.txt or sysprep.inf to automate the installation of Windows 2000 and your unattend.txt or sysprep.inf prompts for any information you will have to click finish on the final screen that says: Completing the Windows 2000 Setup Wizard
You have successfully completed Windows 2000 Setup.
If there is a CD in your drive, remove. Then, to restart your computer, click finish

To apply the hotfix:
- Extract the Syssetup.dll file from the package using -x command.
- Rename the Syssetup.dl_ file on your distribution share.
- Copy the Syssetup.dll file that you extracted from the package to your distribution share.
To apply this hotfix for a Sysprep issue in addition to a unattend.txt, follow these steps:
- Extract the Syssetup.dll file from the package using -x command.
- Rename the Syssetup.dl_ file on your distribution share.
- Copy the Syssetup.dll file that you extracted from the package to your
distribution share.
To apply the hotfix if you using a sysprep.inf and running sysprep:
- Extract the Syssetup.dll file from the package using -x command.
- On the computer you are running sysprep boot safe mode or boot off a Windows 98 boot disk or use the Windows 2000 Recovery console to rename the following two files:
%systemroot%\system32\syssetup.dll to syssetup.old
%systemroot%\system32\dllcache\syssetup.dll to syssetup.old - Copy the syssetup.dll file that you extracted from the package to the locations listed in #2
- Reboot and rerun sysprep
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Windows 2000 Service Pack 2.
