The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Entourage 2001 for Mac
  • Microsoft Exchange Update for Entourage X (Office v. X 10.1.4 Update)

SUMMARY

When you use Entourage, you can save a calendar as a Web page so that you can share it with others. For example, you can post a calendar with important project dates as a Web page on your company intranet. You can also post your soccer team's game schedule as a Web page on your personal Web site. You can then refer others to the calendar if you give them the Uniform Resource Locator (URL).

MORE INFORMATION

When you save a calendar as a Web page, you can specify the start date and the end date, include appointment details that are entered in the text section of the event, and add a background graphic.

To save your calendar as a Web page:
  • Switch to Calendar view.

For Entourage 2001, click Calendar in the folder list. If you do not see the folder list, click Folder List on the View menu.

For Entourage X and Entourage 2004, click the Calendar button.
    1. On the File menu, click Save as a Web page.
    2. Under Duration, click the date pickers to select the start and end dates. Or, type a start date in the Start Date box. Then, type the end date in the End Date box by using the month/day/year format.
    3. Under Options, choose the options that you want.
    4. In the Web page title box, type the name that you want the Web page to display. Then, click Save.
    5. Select a location for the Web page and for the additional files.
Both an Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) file and a folder that contains all of the necessary files to view the Calendar as a Web page are created with the same name as the title of your calendar after you save your calendar as a Web page.

For example, if your calendar title is "My Calendar," a page that is entitled My Calendar.htm and a folder named My Calendar are created. The number of items in the folder varies depending on the complexity of your calendar.

NOTE: Because the various calendar Web Page elements are interconnected using links and embedded script, customization is not supported except through the interface that is described in this procedure.
