XCLN: Cannot Connect to Secure Conferences by Using H.323 (275126)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server
This article was previously published under Q275126 SYMPTOMS
When you connect to a secure conference by using the H.323 connectivity method, you may not be able to see or hear any multimedia (audio or video) in the conference, either from other H.323 multicast participants or Internet Protocol (IP) multicast participants.
CAUSE
This issue can occur because currently, when you use the H.323 connectivity method, secure calls are only supported in "data only" mode.
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue and communicate fully (data, audio, or video) in a secure conference, you must use a multicast-capable client such as Microsoft Windows 2000.
